Life
coaching for women writers.
Free
your creativity!

Writers
hold a special place in my life...art, and the yearning to create, blesses us
and all those we touch. But
creativity can come with certain stumbling blocks.
The
Creative Life
I've
been a reader and a writer all my life. Reading is easy. Writing is hard.
Or
at least it can be... Sometimes your thoughts flow right onto the page, fully
formed and beautiful. The very air around you is like a fairy mist, offering your
every desirea clever turn of phrase, a crucial glimpse into a character's
psyche, a brilliant plot twist that leaves you giddy.
But
at other times you stare at a taunting blank page, and the flow's been blocked
by the regurgitations of a mental cement truck. Unproductive and miserable, you
feel like an utter failureor worse, a fraud. How can I be a writer if
I can't write?
A
creative block is normal. Procrastination is normal. So is fear. You are still
an writer, even if you're stuck or blocked. And the good news is that you can
get through the stuck place and the fear. Just as words dance across the page
in the good times, you can dance around the block in the bad.
I
love coaching writers. I understand the needs, wants, and fears of the creative
life. I've written short stories, novels, nonfiction, a Ph.D. dissertation, and
myriad academic papers, and I know how hard it can be to stay motivated and productive.
That can become a vicious circle. But it doesn't need to.
Some
say writing is like opening up a vein and pouring it onto the page. My goal as
a coach is to help you write freely and joyfullywithout all the bleeding
and angst. I'm here to help you be productive, confident, and excited about your
creativity. Work with me to find your muse and achieve your goals. If you'd like
